Bad metaphor coming up...
We seem to be gaining speed. Think (if you will) of this trip being a big big rollercoaster and we´ve spent the last week being dragged up that big first part slowly, admiring the view, getting butterflies because that great big drop is getting really close now. On Sunday morning we go over and will end up in the Amazon for fun and frolics with the local wildlife and it´s non stop from there. Right now, I think, we´ve got to the stage where we want to move on, Quito is great, but would be more fun if we weren´t trying to economise and save the rest of our cash for the big trip ahead.
Also, this thing isn´t going to be updated anything like as often once we´re off. Have you ever tried connecting to the internet on a speeding rollercoaster? Well, strictly speaking neither have I. Infact, I´ve never tried connecting to the internet on a slow paced, leisurely roller coaster, so this whole thing is redundant. Soddit.
